Due to rising COVID-19 cases within the district, it was announced that masks would now be mandatory in all K-12 buildings.

“I am not in for double masking. I can see the benefit of wearing a mask, and I think there are definitely always things people can do better… I think there would be a greater argument that they are struggling to breathe if they have asthma. WIth one mask, that’s not the best argument, in my opinion, but two masks, I can see that starting to affect some people's breathing,” special education instructor Quinn Langworthy

“It’s hard to talk and breathe, but I’ve done it a few times and it's not bad,” freshman Allison Burnett

“Well, when I walk up the stairs I’m already basically breathing for my life because [of] the mask. If there [are] double masks, I can't breathe. I’m going to die. I’m going to fall back down them steps,” junior Zach Laroda

“I think it’s a good idea. If you really do feel like you need double protection or if you put a filter in one of your masks, there is nothing wrong with that if it’s protecting you and if you feel safe doing that,” freshman Nishi Singh

“Like, one mask, it could be too loose, but, like, two, it’s keeping it closer to your face,” freshman Jesse Pitzl
