“Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.” Is Harry Styles’ newest album as of 2026. The popular pop singer announced the album in December 2025 and it finally released in March of this year. This was very exciting to Harry fans everywhere since Styles has been on a four year music hiatus since finishing his two year long “Love on tour” in July 2023.
The album was inspired by his new, relaxing way of living that was discovered during his break. He spent time in Italy and the English countryside taking joyful time away from his career. I think it’s great how he was comfortable enough to take some time off the public eye and get to know himself. He’s spent most of his life on TV and social media so I think this was a well deserved reset.
There is a lot to love about this album. Everything flows together so smoothly and the songs merge together nicely. It is truly little bits of the best parts of Styles’ music into one album. You get the up beat jazzy songs that made him so famous, but also the slower, calm songs that show us how he has been enjoying his life.
The album kicks off with what was originally a single, titled “Aperture”. This song came out a few months before the album was released, giving us some ideas of what was in store. It starts out slowly and quickly picks up a catchy beat. The main line “We belong together” tells us that Styles is back and here to stay.
The next song is one of my favorites, and it has already gained a lot of popularity through social media. “American Girls” talks about friends settling down and building families, while Styles’ himself is lonely. He longs for a connection that his famous and fast paced life has not been able to give him. The song itself is similar to Aperture except with a bit of a lighter color.
“Ready, Steady, Go!” is where the album really picks up. It’s high pitched guitar and DJ turntable sound affects feel like an overwhelming party. It’s not exactly my favorite kind of music, but it’s still a good song if you’re into that. “Are You Listening Yet?” is very similar. Though, it is slightly because it really show Styles’ funny personality.
“Taste Back” is my all time favorite Harry Styles’ song. It uses the metaphor of getting sick and losing your taste to compare with a past relationship making its way back into your life. Whether that is a significant other, friend, or family member, it really shows the emotions and thoughts one feels when someone comes back into your life. Though it is very emotional, it doesn’t really sound like a sad song. It is a mix of calm to more upbeat melody. Showing that people making their way back into your life can be a good thing.
“The Waiting Game” and “Coming Up Roses” have gained a lot of popularity through social media. They’re both more somber and emotional songs. Talking about, you guessed it, Styles’ romantic relationships. Even if you cannot relate, these songs are great to listen too, especially if you like songs with a more calm and relaxed vibe.
These were just my personal highlights from the album, but I love almost every song I’ve listened to. While I’m not a crazy fan, I am glad to see Styles return from his break and bless us with his music. I am especially looking forward to seeing what his tour will bring and how his fans react to hearing these gorgeous songs live.
