It’s a lot of reaching out on your own and a lot of trying to get ahold of coaches and see if you’re a good fit before you apply, and so you kind of have a good idea if you can get in or not before you even begin the application. The application becomes a secondary to talking to the coach, because for most people, they get offered before, and so they know they can get in before they even apply.
