A new drive-thru drink shop, 7 Brew, has opened in Elkhorn, Nebraska, and it’s already making big impressions. Popular in many other states, 7 Brew is new to the area, and the excitement has brought in lines stretching up to 30 or more cars deep.
Founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, 7 Brew has grown quickly. As of 2025, the company has opened around 500 locations nationwide, making it one of the fastest growing drive-thru beverage places in the country.
7 Brew focuses on “cultivating kindness” by serving drinks with positive energy and friendly customer service. Which some customers have seen first hand.
“The customer service was really nice. We went on a really cold night, and they were still standing outside taking orders and staying friendly. The atmosphere was fun too, which made the experience better” freshman Ava McLaughlin said.
7 Brew offers more than 20,000 drink combinations, including coffee, energy drinks, sodas, and customizable options like alternative milks, caffeine free drinks, and sugar free flavors.
“I got an iced cookie butter blondie with caramel drizzle, and it was pretty good,” Mclaughlin said. “But my brother got a really trashy drink, and it wasn’t very good.”
Of course with any food spot there are going to be mixed reviews. Some claim that the place is overrated and the line might just not be worth it.
“I think it’s good, but it’s overhyped. It’s just a normal coffee place with energy drinks. You could go to Starbucks, Scooters or even a gas station and get something similar,” freshman Gia Gibilisco said.
While some customers feel the shop may not be worth the wait, there have been many positive reviews on the drinks and the new opening has excited customers. Many are eager to try 7 Brew for themselves.
“I’ve seen this drink place all over TikTok, so I’m glad they finally opened one in Nebraska. Even though it’s a little far since it’s in Elkhorn, it’s still really good and worth trying,” freshman Addison Piotrowski said.
One thing that seems to define this coffee shop in any location are the long lines. This, along with the drive, might make the trip feel like it’s not worth it for some Westside customers.
“I like it, but the line is a little too long,” freshman Blien Gebre said “It doesn’t need to be that crazy. It’s just another drinking place. There’s no inside waiting area, and both times I’ve been, the line was over an hour.”
Whether it’s worth the wait really depends on the customer. With long lines, a wide menu of drinks, and friendly service, 7 Brew is quickly gaining attention in the area.
