Westside kicks a field goal against Creighton Prep in 2017, the last time the Warriors hosted the Jr. Jays.

The public address announcer at the 2018 edition called the matchup the “greatest rivalry in Omaha.” The Omaha World-Herald’s Mike Patterson called it “that time-honored rivalry.” It’s Omaha Creighton Prep at Omaha Westside, and it’s at Phelps Field on Friday night.

—>Since 2010, Westside holds a 5-4 advantage in the regular season series, with the most recent win coming by a score of 37-2 at Omaha Benson last season.

—-> The teams hold a combined record of 7-1 with notable wins coming over Omaha North and Omaha Central for the Jr. Jays.

—-> Since 2015, Westside has a combined advantage in score, 122-85, and the last shutout in the series came in 2015 when Westside defeated the Jr. Jays 41-0.
