PREVIEW: Warriors, Patriots to Battle for A-5 Title

On Thursday, the Westside football team will play their final regular season game of the season against the Millard South Patriots. The Warriors look to finish their regular season undefeated as they are currently 8-0. The game is to be played at Millard South and will kick off at 7 p.m.
The Patriots are 7-1 and ranked fourth in the state. They are the highest ranked team that Westside will play in the entire regular season. Senior Joe Stegman said he understands the challenge, yet is confident his team will succeed.
“I think it’s gonna be a fight for 4 quarters but we have had our best week of preparation and we feel confident that we can secure the top spot going into playoffs” Stegman said.
The Warriors will take the field at Millard South’s Lyle Buell Stadium at 7 p.m.
