After the Westside Warriors football team won the state championship in 2020, three of the team’s seniors signed with their respective teams on the Dec. 16 signing date. Four more of those seniors plan to sign today live on Warrior Television and Westside Wired. Coverage starts at 7:45 at Westside High School.

Players Signing:

Linebacker Ben Radicia

Ben Radicia, the all-state linebacker will sign his letter of intent to Iowa Western Community College home of the Reivers. With 88 solo tackles, 35 assists, 12 tackles for loss, and a team-leading five sacks in his senior season, Radicia has been regarded as one of the most physical linebackers you’ll find in Nebraska. Good luck to Ben and his family as he takes his next step in his football career!

Defensive End TJ Ingram

TJ Ingram, honorable mention for Defensive-End will sign his letter of intent to Iowa Western Community College and join his high school teammates Ben Radicia and Trevor Barajas as Reivers. With 31 tackles and 4 sacks his senior year, TJ has been known to force an opponent to pass quickly. Good luck to TJ and his family as he takes his next step in his football career!

Defensive-Tackle Will Hurtado

Will Hurtado will sign his letter of intent to Benedictine College out of Atchison, Kansas. Being named on the second team super-state and the all-state team’s his senior season showed his prowess at the line. His adaptability showed as well as Hurtado switched positions and played both sides of the ball recording 63 tackles on defense and helped put together the highest-rated offensive line in the state. Defensive-Back Avante Dickerson

Avante Dickerson is the highest rated Westside athlete the school has ever seen. A four-time all-stater, MaxPreps All-American, and consensus four-star prospect has shown his speed both on offense and defense in his career at Westside. Along with having a stellar defensive year with four interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and 16 tackles, Dickerson put up 303 rushing yards, 583 receiving yards, and 463 return yards on the offensive side of the ball. After de-committing from Minnesota just over a week ago, Dickerson will make his decision on where he will continue his football career live. Congrats to Avante and his family for his success and his continuation of football at the college level.
