The Importance of Breakfast

Rolling out of bed just in time to get dressed and rush to school is typical among high school students. The laziest of kids in high school students can lead to a unhealthy diet. Breakfast is an important part of students days because it gives you energy that will keep you going through the long school day. Breakfast is not only important but necessary. Most students don’t understand that breakfast can be the deciding factor to if you have a good day or not.

Most people don’t purposely skip their morning meal but occasionally that can be the case. Sometimes remembering to eat before school can slip your mind. It happens to me all the time. It is essential to the everyday needs of students. It doesn’t take that much time to grab a granola bar as your headed out of your house. Trust me, when you’re sitting in class and your stomach grumbles you wish you would have grabbed something to eat. If you’re sitting in class and all your thinking about it when you get to eat next, your productivity level is going to go way down. This can essentially affect how you do in school.

I have seen so many girls not eat break feast on purpose because they think they don’t need it. But studies have shown that people who eat a bigger break feast tend to be healthier. Why? Because they aren’t constantly eating throughout the day and are more satisfied. Case in point, you should eat breakfast. Even if you think it will help you lose weight, it won’t. All it is going to do for you is distract you in class. That is why it is so important to eat breakfast so your are nutritioned throughout the day.
