SENIOR SWEEP: Seniors win Powder Puff, dance to complete the trifecta

The Class of 2015 has completed the Homecoming sweep! Last night, the seniors were the winners in the dance team contest, decided by an applause meter, and the Powder Puff football game. The team won the game 12-7.
The heavily favored senior class started off the game with the ball around the 50-yard line. Quarterback Kelsey Coziahr then took the quarterback keeper for a senior first. After a touchdown by Annie Bradford was called back, the seniors scored the first points of the game on a Sydney Harlow run. They were not able to convert the extra point.
Throughout the rest of the first half, the defenses took over and no more points were scored. The seniors had an opportunity at the end of the first half in the junior red zone, but they were not able to convert, and the halftime score was 6-0 in favor of the seniors.
Halftime was the reason many fans came to the game, to have the opportunity to see a group of junior and senior boys make fools of themselves, and this year lived up to that. The juniors went first, wearing ties and boxer shorts. They had a routine that was highlighted by Xavier Fort in the middle of a dance half-circle. The seniors were next, and were highlighted by Reece Watanabe truffle shuffling.

Loading ...After the dances were over, the crowd voted on the dances. The seniors were crowned champion, and only needed to win the game to complete the sweep.
The juniors had other plans. After returning the second half kickoff into the senior red-zone, the juniors punched the ball in for six. The juniors were tied, and sent the field goal unit onto the field to try to take the lead. That is exactly what they did.
It was gut check time for the seniors, they needed someone to be the hero. Kelsey Coziahr was that player. Once again, the quarterback keeper was too much for the junior team to handle, and Coziahr gave the senior team the lead. They would not relinquish it. The final score of the game ended up 12-7, and the seniors completed the sweep.
