Westside varsity baseball beats Papillion-La Vista 9-1 to win the District A-1 Championship Game. Although Westside was guaranteed to be the No. 1 seed in the Class A baseball state tournament, the win will give the Warriors momentum heading into the tournament.

Westside used four pitcher (seniors Jake Meyers and Christian Hagan, junior Mike Waldron and senior Jackson Rose, in that order) to hold the Monarchs to one run. Meanwhile, the Warriors scored nine runs in the first three innings (two in the first, four in the second and three in the third).
