Being on staff of Westside Wired for the past two years has been an experience that I will never be able to recreate. Beside from the actual curriculum of the class it has taught me so many things outside of journalism concepts that I will use for the rest of my life. There have been a multitude of stressful days and assignments when I’m sure no one wanted to be around me, but for the most part it has been very fun and enjoyable. Without the ups and downs it would not be true journalism and I am so thankful that I have had the chance to be a part of the Westside Wired team.
I know that in future years of the website, my stories will no longer be up, the polls won’t be as funny and I will no longer be in charge, but I hope that I was able to add something to the publication that will be useful in the future.
A former TV 1 annoyance, to a TV 2 drop-out, to editor-in-chief of Wired, I am so thankful to have been a part of the Westside Journalism program.
*Adviser note – Even though your spelling is awful, it has been an honor and privilege to have you as our Editor in Chief.
