In the spirit of March Madness, I am going to make some bold predictions. And if I am wrong, I doubt anyone reads these anyways. Take these with a grain of salt as I am no expert.

1. VCU will go to the Final Four: VCU has been know to step it up during the tournament. They have a decent three-point percentage of about 35% which will allow them to put up points against teams who may dominate them inside. They play at a faster pace and score a high amount of points (avg of 78). They have also finished second in their conference. Finally, they face Kansas and I would love to see another VCU upset.

2. SLU beats Louisville: Louisville is know to not always play consistent. SLU is a very athletic team that will not have any trouble keeping up with Louisville. SLU recently beat VCU to become conference champions. They are also good three point shooters, 34%, which will allow them to score against Louisville. It will come down to SLU being able to bring the game pace down to their level, as Louisville averages a higher points per game than SLU.

3. Oregon moves on to the Sweet 16: I don’t really know how big of a prediction this is, as Oregon is disgustingly under seeded but regardless they are a team that can go far. If you pay attention to the bracket, you would know that this prediction clashes with my second prediction. I think that either of these two things will happen. Oregon will have a tough time facing Smart, and then have a tough time beating SLU. But I doubt that they will be able to make it to the Elite 8 and beat Louisville after they go through two tough teams.
