Terelynn Russel, 43, is growing her hair to over six feet long. That is longer then the length of her body. Her three daughters are following her lead by growing their hair out to epic proportions. At one point Russel stepped on her own hair, so she set some house hair rules. All of the women must tie their hair back while in the kitchen, especially around the stove. Hair must be kept clean by using lots of shampoo and conditioner. According to Terelynn, it takes an hour to dry all of her hair. Growing out their hair is not just for looks however, both Russel and her daughters have donated some of their hair to Locks of Love.

As for the men in the family, Russel’s son stated that he is going to be a great husband because he knows how to deal with drama, and how to deal with hair.

In my opinion, I don’t know why you would want to deal with all that hair. I know how much my hair drives me nuts and mine is only just past my shoulders. How much shampoo and conditioner does this family go through in a week? It must take one whole bottle just for the mom. Can you imagine the amount of hair that must get caught in that drain? Nasty. While the idea of being a Disney princess might appeal to some people, this particular one seems like too much of a hassle.
