Spirit Week

In preparation for the upcoming Winter Formal dance, there will be a new spirit theme each day. Each day students and staff can pay one dollar to participate in that day’s theme. Student Advisory Board members will be collecting the money at the entrances to the school before school each day this week. All of the money raised will be donated to the Polar Plunge in support of the Special Olympics and help people who have disabilities be able to participate in sports.

“This is important because it’s fun! Especially during this time of the year when the weather is dull and we’re all a little burnt out. It makes school something to look forward to,” said SAB President Madison Ryan.

Ryan will be attending the Polar Plunge event next Saturday and will donate the money raised during the week.

Below is the list of the rest of this week’s spirit day themes. Don’t forget to donate a dollar each day that you participate.

“Students are also more than welcome to donate extra money to the cause if they want to,” said Ryan.

This week’s schedule:

Tuesday- Denim Day

Wednesday- Western

Thursday- Twin Day

Friday- Hawaiian Shirt Day
