Westside Tennis Team to Compete at Metros
The varsity boys tennis team will compete in the Metro Conference Tournament beginning on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. The team is being led by Sophomore Jake Bonnett and Freshman Josh Rosenblatt. Senior Ethan Forcade said this is a rare occurrence.
“Josh Rosenblatt is our number 2 which is almost unheard of from a freshmen, at least at our program,” Forcade said.
Despite struggling early on in the season, Forcade said that the team is getting better and is ready for the Metro Conference Tournament.
“The team has progressed a lot throughout the season and we’re very confident going into the tournament,” Forcade said.
Westside will continue to day two of the tournament Thursday afternoon at the Koch Family Tennis Center.
