The 2014-15 year is soon coming to a close, and journalism staffs are beginning to close up shop for the summer. With seniors leaving and new members joining, changes to staff positions have been made.

Westside Wired will see senior Claire Selby handover her role as editor-in-chief to Sam Frankel. Frankel is currently a junior, and he served as managing editor for Wired this year.

The newspaper, the Lance is welcoming new rankings, as well. Junior Jace Wieseler who served as a managing editor this year, and junior Nata Ward, who will be going into her second year as editor-in-chief, have been announced as next year’s editors-in-chief. The managing editors will be sophomores Libby Seline and Celena Shepherd and junior Jack Cohen.

WTV, Westside’s television program, is greeting a new group of producers as well. Junior Elias Ginsberg will go into his second year as a producer alongside juniors Grace Ward, Phoebe Placzek and Mckenzie Meradith. This years producers alongside Ginsberg were: Connor Flairty, Kady Hosman and Hannah Smith.

Craze magazine is passing its editor-in-chief positions to juniors to Jenna Hynek and Kristen McCormack. Managing editors will be junior Lauren Chesire and sophomore Audrey McCann. Seniors Allie Laing and Lia Hagen were the editors-in-chief this past year.

Finally, Shield yearbook staff has also announced new Editor’s-in-Chief. Junior Sophie Cosimano will be back for a second year as editor-in-chief alongside sophomore Ande Bilyeu. Managing editors for the shield will be junior Emma Reilly and sophomore Abby Lang.
