Basketball

Boys: The boys basketball team got off to a great start this weekend by beating Omaha Central 64-57. Trae Meeks lead the way for the Warriors with 25 points. However Westside struggled and dropped game two this weekend. Omaha South beat Westside 59-32 at South. Trae Meeks had another strong game with 18 points, however the rest of the team combined for only 14 points.

Girls: For the girls team, the weekend couldn’t have gone much better. The Warriors had back to back 20+ point wins against Omaha Central and Omaha South. Jay Bridgeman and Quinn Weidemann both scored in double digits against Central, and four Warriors scored in double digits against South. The Warriors won against Central 56-35 and against South 81-46.

A Quiet Weekend

Show Choir was off this weekend, but they return to action at the Crystal Cup competition next weekend. Swimming and Diving has a meet at Westside tomorrow, and Wrestling has their district meet on Saturday. Come back next week to see how all your Westside activities faired this weekend!
