Westside boys’ and girls’ basketball prepare for a tough finals two weeks before districts. Watch the Eagles and Warriors battle it out on the hardwood
Two huge showcases of top ten teams are on display tonight as the Omaha Central Eagles come to Westside High School as the regular season slowly comes to a close. The fourth-ranked Omaha Central girls hope to bounce back after back-to-back losses to top ten opponents last week while the Warriors are hoping to get redemption after a harsh loss to the Eagles in the Metro Conference Quarterfinals. Following the girl’s matchup, a top five battle will ensue with the boys. Jayden Dawson and PJ Davis, Omaha Central’s four-year varsity men look to matchup with Westside’s four-year starters in Chandler Meeks and Reggie Thomas in a critical late season game.
Watch live as Jaden Taylor and Ross Jernstrom give you all the action for the biggest rivalry in the state of Nebraska. Also see guest analyst former Omaha Central and Nebraska Cornhuskers star and Nebraska Athletics Hall of Famer Maurtice Ivy join the broadcast. Pregame show will start at 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
