Westside basketball is back home for the first time in 2022. The 7-4 Westside girls basketball team will be in action for their first time since the Omaha Metro Conference Tournament. The Warriors will take on the 2-7 Omaha Burke Bulldogs looking to bounce back after two blowout losses to Class A powerhouses in Omaha Central and Fremont. Following the girls, the now #1 ranked boys basketball team will take on the youth filled 2-7 Omaha Burke Bulldogs. After a Metro Conference Tournament championship and a win over Omaha Bryan, the Warriors will look to continue their 10-game winning streak.

Tonight, Red Shield, WTV Live and Westside High School will support and recognize Domestic Violence Awareness and the Purple Flag Project. The Purple Flag project is a Westside based non-profit that is looking to increase domestic violence awareness throughout the Westside community.
