[Spoiler Free] Movie Review: Avengers: Endgame
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a staple in the superhero community since the original Iron Man was released in 2008. Now, 11 years later, it is slated to come to a close with the release of Avengers: Endgame.
After spending millions of dollars on advertising, Endgame is set to break box office records for opening weekend sales, total revenue for a movie and more.
In my opinion, the hype for the supposed end to the MCU is well worth it.
Since the series began in 2008, Robert Downey Jr. has portrayed the character of Tony Stark, otherwise known as Iron Man, a genius millionaire that has built technology to help save the world. Led by the smarts of Stark Industries and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), the remaining heroes, after Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, must go on an adventure to attempt to save the world one last time.
Endgame has a runtime of just over three hours, so be prepared to sit still for awhile. During an action-packed, intense 181 minutes, Endgame does not miss a beat.
The movie is set to release to the public on Thursday, April 25, 2019, and it can be viewed at most local movie theaters in Omaha.
