Westside Hosts Volleyball Invitational

The Westside varsity volleyball team hosted a plethora of schools on Friday and Saturday for the Westside Invitational. In the Warriors’ portion of Friday’s matches, they went 2-1, losing five of the seven sets they played. Westside started their schedule with a 2-1 win over Bellevue West, but they ultimately fell to Papillion La-Vista, 2-0, and Lincoln Southwest, 2-0. They came out of their Saturday portion with a sweep of South Sioux City and a sweep of Bellevue West. Marian won the whole tournament with a win over Millard North in the finals.
The Warriors return to action on on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 7 p.m. when they travel to Papillion La-Vista.
