Warrior places well at state tournament

Over the past two days, Norfolk Country Club has hosted the 2017 NSAA State Championship tournament for the sport of girls golf. Westside’s lone golfer to compete in this tournament was junior Lilian Fogland. After finishing day one of the tournament with a score of 93 on a par 72 course, Fogland entered day two tied for 17th place. Fogland proceeded to shoot a 90 stroke round on day two which brought her total to 183. She finished the tournament tied for eleventh place which made her the third Westside player to finish in the top 15 at the State Championships since 2012.
This brought a close to the 2017 season for the Warriors.
