PSA: Highway to Harvey
Hello, Warriors! Westside’s DECA chapter is teaming up with Fusion Medical Staffing, Kirsch Transportation, and other communities in the metro area to send supplies to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. On Thursday, September 14th, student volunteers will load a semi-truck full of donations previously collected to be sent to Conroe, TX. Once the items are delivered, Kiwanis volunteers of the Texas-Oklahoma district will sort and distribute the donations as needed. DECA students and advisors have many opportunities for members of the Westside and metro community to bring donations; the main donation site being the Powderpuff football game taking place at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 11th. Admission to the game will require a donation, but DECA is encouraging you to donate as much as possible. The hurricane victims are in serious need of a variety of supplies listed below.
