Palin endorsement opens more doors for Trump
This story is written as a satire against Donald Trump, and all quotes are fictitious.
It’s everyones favorite time of the year, election season! Every four years we use this season to select the leader of America, the President of the United States (POTUS). It’s a very prestigious position full of signing meaningless bills and trying to get more power than the constitution allows. Who better to sit in this spotlight than Donald J. Trump.
If we think about Trump’s success, today he has a net worth of four billion dollars, all starting with that “small million dollar loan” from his father. An inspiring rags to riches story. Now, already having his name plastered on every building, apartment and golf course he’s built, Trump wants to keep his ego remembered in history as the 45th POTUS.
Going with this experiment, Trump has found himself as the GOP frontrunner. While his campaign is self-funded, that hasn’t stopped endorsements from flowing in. Recently, Trump got a big endorsement from Right-winging, bitter-clinging, gun-clinging former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin on Jan. 19. With this endorsement, Trump gains momentum heading into Iowa.
Not only does Trump have momentum in Iowa, but having Palin has brought on even more support for Trump.
Since the Palin endorsement, Trump has been raking in more and more support from big names. Shortly after Palin announced her support, rapper Kanye West gave his endorsement to Trump, despite Trumps remarks about minorities.
“He’s just a cool guy and has great ideas to run a country, just like me,” West said. “I love his idea to build a wall to keep out Mexicans. I’d even support a wall to keep out all minorities.”
Then on Jan. 20, former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush gave their support to Trump as well, citing his aggressive debate tactics.
“The way he has bullied and tormented Jeb during debates is something George couldn’t even imagine as an older brother,” George H.W. said. “Donald is an attacker and has destroyed Jeb’s psyche. Imagine what he’d do to the terrorists. He’s got the Bush family votes.”
With only 12 days until the Iowa primaries, Trump has gained tremendous support and shows no signs of stopping. Rumors have been swirling that David Bowie is coming back from the dead to support Trump, but only time will tell.
