Weekend in Review
To kick off the weekend girls varsity basketball traveled down to Lincoln to play the Titans of Papio-LaVista South High. Warriors fought on the entire game, but didn’t get the result they were hoping for. The Titans beat the Warriors 67-63 for the win.
The same day, boys varsity basketball traveled to Fremont to play the Titans as well. Junior Anthony Bratton lead the Warriors with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Senior Trae Meeks followed with 16 points and Senior A.J. Meeks with 14 points on the board. The Warriors pulled out a win with a final score of 72-56.
Wrestling took a drive up to York on Saturday for their first meet and it was one for the books. Darlando Hill placed 2nd in his duel, Drew Sorrell placed 4th, and Kobe Brewer place 6th. The next meet is on Tuesday in Underwood Iowa.
To top off the weekend, girls and boys swimming competed in the Omaha Burke Invitational on Saturday. Many swimmers placed in the top three for their individual events leading to boys swimming taking 3rd, trailing behind Omaha Creighton Prep and Omaha Burke. Girls swimming took 3rd in the invitational trailing behind Omaha Marian. Great job this weekend Warriors.
