Boys tennis places third in Kearney tournament

The boys varsity tennis team placed third in an eight-team doubles tournament at Kearney High School Saturday, Sept. 6.

The team took third at No. 1 (seniors Sean Padios and Tom Kutilek) and No. 2 (senior Max Slosburg and sophomore Dillon Ketcham) doubles, second at No. 3 doubles (seniors Jon Bass and Teigen Swanson) and fifth at No. 4 doubles (senior Shaket Chaudhary and junior Ziyu Fan).

Creighton Prep won the tournament and Kearney took second. Westside is back in action Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. against Papillion-La Vista at Westside.
