Girls soccer falls in first round of state in penalty kicks
Westside’s girls varsity soccer team fell to Kearney 4-2 in penalty kicks after the teams played each other to a 0-0 draw in regulation and two halves of overtime during a matchup in the first round of the state tournament. The tournament is single-elimination, so the Warriors are out of the eight-team tournament.
