The Westside girls and boys varsity basketball teams will play host to Omaha Burke on Friday, January 11, 2019. The Westside girls, who hold a 10-3 record following a Metro Conference Tournament run and win over Omaha Marian, will kick things off at 5:30 p.m.

The Omaha Burke girls, who hold a 7-4 record of their own, are coming off a 47-46 win over Millard West. The Bulldogs are also averaging 56.7 points per game and are led by sophomore Anaya Harris with 12.6 points and 3.3 assists per game.

At the conclusion of the girls game, the Westside boys, who currently hold a 6-4 record, will look to avenge a first round Metro Conference Tournament loss to the Bulldog boys, who hold a 4-7 record. Coach Kevin Kobs and his team come into the evening averaging 59.5 points per game and are led by junior Xavier Watts with 14.2 points per game.

Westside will host Omaha Burke for a boys and girls basketball doubleheader on Friday, January 11, 2019, and it will tip off with the girls game at 5:30 p.m.
