The Westside girls varsity soccer team (12-3) will take the short trip to Morrison Stadium on the campus of Creighton University on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018. They will open the 2018 NSAA Class A Girls Soccer State Tournament when they take on Lincoln Southwest (12-4) at 3:00 p.m.

Westside was led to the fourth seed in this year’s tournament in the offensive third by Sylvia Fehr as she has earned 25 points this season with nine goals and seven assists. Fehr is the only active member of the roster to record 20 or more points in a season, and she’s done it twice in three years with the team. In front of the net, junior goalkeeper has helped Westside to the tournament by recording 69 saves for an average of 4.6 per game.

Westside will open the tournament with fifth-seed Lincoln Southwest on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Stadium. The Silver Hawks will be the Warriors’s ninth division two or higher opponent this season, and they’re 6-2 in those games.
