Westside Improves to 2-1 with Win Over Packers

The Westside Varsity football team stormed into Collin Stadium on Friday night, and they came out on top by way of a score of 55-7.  Westside was led to victory by the defense which allowed just 206 total yards of offense.  They held the Packers to 21 yards on nine completions.

On the offensive side of the ball, senior quarterback Dylan Plautz led the way by completing 10 passes for a total of 219 yards.  Matthew Gurnett led the offense in receptions and receiving yards with 82 yards on three receptions, and senior running back Jaden Kohls picked up 82 yards on 8 attempts.

The Warriors return to action in week four when they host Omaha Northwest at 7 p.m. in the Homecoming game.
