Girls Tennis

Girls varsity tennis competed against Marian yesterday, falling to the Crusaders by 2 matches. The team is competing in the Millard North invite today at Millard North. The girls will be competing in the metro tournament next week.

Boys Baseball

Boys baseball started off the week strong with a home win against rival Creighton Prep on Monday. The boys defeated the Junior Jays 6-5. The team continued their winning streak, playing Papillion La-Vista on Tuesday and pulling off an 11-5 win. Tuesday was also Senior night for the team. The boys will compete in their first round of districts on Saturday against Lincoln East at Lincoln.

Boys Soccer

Boys soccer competed in their first round of districts on Monday against Omaha Northwest. They beat the Huskies 9-0 and booked their ticket to the district finals on Thursday. They competed against the Fremont Tigers yesterday, continuing their winning streak with a solid 8-0 win. The boys will compete in their first round of State on Wednesday the 10th at 1 p.m. at Morrison Stadium.

Girls Soccer

Girls soccer also competed in their first round of districts on Tuesday against Grand Island, defeating the Islanders 7-0. The girls played in the district finals on Thursday against Lincoln Southeast. Winning 2-0, the girls will advance to their first round of state at Morrison stadium on Thursday at 3pm.

Boys and Girls Track

On Tuesday and Wednesday the boys and girls track teams competed in the metro conference. Senior Taylor Schendt placed 1st in discus and senior Milo Greder won first in the 1600m event, breaking the record at the metro meet. With many other placings, the track teams will compete in the district conference on May 10th in Kearney.

Showchoir

Warrior express, SI and ATSC will be holding the evening of show choirs tonight at 7 p.m. Come support the show choirs tonight at WHS and watch their final performances for this year!

Band

The Westside Warrior band held a senior solo concert last night at Westside. Many seniors showcased their talents with solos, and the bands performed together as well.

Fashion

The Westside fashion classes came together to showcase their work for this year on Wednesday night. The students worked hard this year and created many amazing products!
