Westside soccer teams to host pancake feed and soccer clinic Saturday

March 3, 2017

This Saturday, March 4, Westside girls and boys soccer teams will be hosting their seventh annual pancake feed in the Courtyard from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Pancake Man will be flipping pancakes all morning, for a cost of $10 for adults and $6 for children. The feed will act as a fundraiser for the soccer teams.

Nathan Moseley, head girls varsity soccer coach and John Brian, head boys varsity soccer coach will be hosting the feed and clinic.

“The boys team has done it for six years and this is the second year that the girls team has joined in,” Moseley said.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m., the varsity teams will host a soccer clinic on Phelps Field for children in kindergarten through eighth grade until 11:15 a.m. The cost for the clinic is a suggested donation of $10.

“[The pancake feed was created] to raise money for the soccer programs and to build connections with the community,” Moseley said.

The pancake feed and soccer clinic is a great way for the Westside community to come together and raise money for the teams.

“My favorite part about the pancake feed is the pancakes,” Moseley said. “I love pancakes.”
