Before & After the shave: Students participate in ‘No Shave November’

After a ‘hairy’ 30 days, four Westside students have started and ended their beard-growing journeys. Reflecting on their experiences through ‘No Shave November,’ senior Seth Norton, junior Peter Novoa, sophomore Tucker Hagan and freshman Josh Siegel share their thoughts.
Seth Norton
“What do you mean ‘beard?’ This is just dirt…”
Peter Novoa
“Not having to shave was convenient because it was one less thing on the daily routine. It was fun to see since I’ve never tried growing it out for that long. The itching is a major killer.”
Tucker Hagan
“It was a great experience; I’m going to prepare myself during the off season and really try to grow it out next year.”
Josh Siegel
“I’ve just been focused on growing this beard the whole month. But you know, through hard work and determination, the results; as you can see, turned out pretty well in my opinion.”
