The fall of Chrome

August 31, 2016

It’s been a hectic week for Tech Support as Google Chrome has been disabled for all high school students. The WHS Tech Support crew has been trying to find a solution for this complicated problem since last Friday. In the meantime, students are stuck using Safari as an Internet Browser.

“It turns out that Google Chrome is not following our rules that we need,” said Head of Technology, Michael Sanchez, “So with that, we had to block it to get it fixed.”

Sanchez has a call today with the vendor to work on this problem, but in the meantime it is a problem that the Tech Support Crew cannot fix alone. This problem has had students stressing and complaining for a fix.

“It makes me really upset that chrome isn’t working,” said sophomore Kaitlyn Ketelsen, “Because I am finally enjoying chrome and all of things that I had bookmarked are gone.”

Most likely Chrome will be fully working again on Monday, but until then, Safari it is.
