“I mean whatever gets the ladies,” Junior Charlie Frerichs said. “I think the girls [care about promposals] more than the guys, but I don’t mind it.”
“I think it’s good for a girl to feel special especially if it’s her last prom and it’s with someone she really likes,” Senior Amber Nims said.
“Promposals are special because it gives you an opportunity to be creative and let the person you’re asking know that you care,” Junior Stephanie Wheeler said. “As teens we don’t get a lot of opportunities to dress up nice, so when we do, we take them pretty seriously.”
“Dances are important in high school because it gives you a chance to be social with your peers outside of school,” Sabina Petersen said.
”I’m excited to go to prom because I like to dress up and hangout with my friends,” Junior Danny Berentson
“You only get to do it twice so you have to make the most of it,” Junior Alex Belgrade said.
“Noah Jarosz came to my house and had a cookie cake that said ‘Prom?’ on it and said ‘I know you dance a lot so I hope you don’t mind one more.’” Junior Gayle Goldstein said. “It was a very sweet surprise for an otherwise regular school night.”
“I think prom is worth all of the preparations for me because I get to spend the night with the girl that I love and it makes her happy and as a result it makes me happy,” Senior Tom Hoglund said.
”It’s always a good time to be around people that you like and feel classy,” Junior Bryce Harvey said.
“It’s special because it’s just juniors and seniors, and you look forward to going throughout high school,” Junior Reagan Callahan said. “It’s fun to go to dinner and then a party with your friends.”
