Westside varsity baseball beat Omaha Northwest 12-0 in five innings. Westside scored eight runs in the first inning before senior Brady Novak hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the game (on the 10-run mercy rule) for the Warriors. The Warriors finished with nine hits and no errors. Northwest was held to five hits and had five errors.

Westside will play the winner of the Papillion-La Vista vs. Omaha Central game in the District A-1 championship game Monday at 6:00 p.m. at Westside.
