Weekend Review
Girls Soccer:
This weekend the girls took on the reigning State champs, Millard West. After an intense game, the girls lost 3-0. After the tough loss the team is ready to move on.
“Our coach was talking to us after the game he told us it’s one thing to lose but if you give its the worst thing that you do,” varsity soccer player sophomore Nata Ward said. “I am motivated personally to win Thursday and Friday’s invite.”
Boys Baseball:
Coming off a loss to Class B No. 1 Norris, the Warriors competed well at the Papio Invite. In the first round, the Warriors beat the Papillion-La Vista South Titans 3-0. In the finals the boys pulled out a win a over Class A No. 3 Millard West to take the Invite. This is the team’s third consecutive tournament win.
Girls Tennis:
The girls varsity tennis team continued its undefeated season with a 9-3 win over Duchesne Girls Academy. Its next match is Tuesday, April 29 against Millard North.
