Weekend Review
It was the opening weekend for spring sports and the Warriors took home a handful of first places and wins. Look below to see how your favorite Westside sports and clubs did this past weekend:
Westside DECA
Westside DECA headed down to Lincoln this past weekend to compete in State DECA. After three days of competing the Warriors walked away with many top three performances. See the results below:

Boys and Girls Soccer
The boys varsity soccer team opened their 2014 Spring Season against Skutt Cathlotic High School. The boys won the game 1-0, with the only goal being scored by Senior Chase McCann. The girls varsity soccer team also opened their season with a 1-0 win over Millard South High School. The only goal of the game was scored by Senior Gigi Grant. Congratulations to both teams for their wins. The boys next game is tonight Tuesday, March 25 vs Burke and the girls play Thursday, March 27 at Millard North. Good luck this season!
Boys and Girls Track
Track kicked off their season of Friday with a varsity meet at Wesleyan. For results from this meet see Emma’s article here. The track team headed for another away meet at South Dakota University on Monday. The results are below:

Baseball
The varsity boys baseball team open their season against Millard West. The Warriors lost 9-7 after committing six errors. The boys had two other games scheduled this weekend however, both were cancelled. Their next game is today, Tuesday, March 25 at Elkhorn High School.
