The color pink paints the city of Omaha. This color becomes the theme to many high school football games. It is a statement of many runs and walks that held to gain awareness. It’s breast cancer awareness month that takes place every October.

Although it is now November, the aftermath of breast cancer and a past battle can leave a lasting impact. Westside High School sophomore, Jacob Kent and his mother, Rose Kent are just two of many who are affected annually by this form of cancer.
