Senior Amir Khan spends mod 6/7 every Friday feeling “75 percent confident, 25 percent a little nervous.” And every Friday after the bell rings, he leaves Personal Finance and heads to the Landing.

When he gets there, kids start clapping and circle up around him. Khan, wearing two special Hawaiian necklaces and holding up his cell phone for a video recording, shouts, “Welcome to this week’s Friday chant!”
