DECA Restocks the Westside Food Pantry and Raises a Total of $2,264.43

For the last 13 years, Westside DECA has put on Powderpuff and Powderbuff to restock the Westside Food Pantry. This event is also a great fundraiser for DECA. This year’s total rounded out to $2,264.43.
“I think it’s cool that it stays local and you guys get to help local families within our district, often times people that sit right next to you in class and you wouldn’t know. It’s nice to make a local difference and it’s even cooler when you guys get to go stock it and be a part of this entire process versus just donating cans,” DECA Advisor Sarah Schau said.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Omaha Westside High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
