BREAKING: Football Game Postponed, Location Changed
The varsity football matchup between Westside and cross-town rival Creighton Prep, previously scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m., has been postponed until Friday, September 21, 2018, at 7 p.m. The game will now be played at Omaha Benson and the theme is still white out. Athletic Director Tom Kerkman broke the news late Thursday morning with the following:
“Prep v Westside game is being moved to Friday at Benson at 7 p.m.,” Kerkman said. “I will give details later on where students will sit tomorrow.”
Later in the day, Kerkman sent out another tweet with more specific details on the matchup.
“WHS fans will enter the northeast gate and will occupy the east bleachers,” Kerkman said. “Students will occupy northeast section of bleachers.”
Tickets for the game will be $6 for Adults and $4 for students. Stay tuned to Westside Wired on social media for updates as they are received.
