In need of a last minute holiday gift? Would you like something handmade but you can’t make it yourself? Check out the pottery sale starting Tuesday Dec. 18 in the main gallery!
Pottery pieces from various art students will be displayed and for sale in the gallery along with the artists name, color, and number of the piece.
“We hoped that the sale would expose the talent and value of work of the students through the semester,” said pottery instructor Jim Fey.
Fey believes the sale will bring attention to the variety of pottery and sculpture classes offered at Westside. Students will man the gallery during lunch mods on Monday and Tuesday to help with any questions. To buy a piece, email the artist on first class through Wednesday Dec. 19.
“This process has already sold several pieces,” said Fey. “I would like to thank the people that have shown interest and supported the students.”
All profits will go directly to the artist.
