This winter, many different organizations in Omaha will be hosting charity drives that will benefit the people in the Omaha area who are in need.This year, thousands of people will be ringing bells for the Salvation Army. Volunteers ring bells and greet people as they go into stores. Buckets are placed outside the store for people to donate their change to those in need. To become a volunteer, click here.

Channel 94.1 will be putting on their annual diaper drive again this December. The collected diapers will go to the women and children at the Lydia house. Collection dates are December 14 through December 15, and will be collected at the Linden Market HyVee on 132nd and Dodge. For more information about this event, click here.

This winter, the Toys for Tots Foundation will be collecting toys again for children in need. Collections boxes can be found in any local Toys R Us or Babies R Us, and will be collected before the end of December. For more information about the Toys for Tots Foundation, click here.
